The Latvian hockey team will start preparing for PC on Monday with 24 hockey players / day

On Monday, the team led by Harry Vitolins will start preparing for the Daugava Stadium Ice Hall with two goalkeepers, ten guards and 12 attackers on the ice.

Later, the team will be complemented by several hockey players, who will have a club season in Europe and North America.

Training in the Daugava Ice Hall will take place for the Latvian hockey team from 10 am to 1 pm.

The first test matches will be played by the Latvian team on April 4 and 5, meeting with the Austrian national team. On April 9 and 10, the Latvian team will host the Finnish team at the Xiaomi Arena, and the Swiss team on April 24 and 25. The preparation phase will end the Latvian team with battles on 2 and 3 May with the Norwegian team. All eight test games will be broadcast live on TV6.

The 2025 World Championship from May 9 to May 25 will take place in Stockholm, where the Latvian team will also play, and in the Denmark city of Herning.

It has already been reported that the volunteer training of the team candidates in the Daugava Stadium Ice Hall took place on the 24th, 25th, 27th and 28th of March.
