The Kursk region investigates the crimes of military personnel
As it became known to Kommersant, in the Kursk region, military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee are investigated by a criminal case against military personnel united in a gang to commit acts of looting in the war zone. On the account of the military, according to the investigation, in addition to theft from the places of battles, there is a murder committed with particular cruelty.
One of the defendants in the investigation is the soldier Mikhail Osipov. At the request of the investigator of the Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee, he was arrested at the place of committing an alleged crime related to the jurisdiction of the Kursk garrison military court. The defense of Osipov twice appealed the measure of restraint in the Second Western District Military Court (Moscow), which did not change it.
From court documents it follows that Osipov with other defendants (in total, as the Kommersant’s source, five people are held in the criminal case) are accused of banditry, murder, committed by a group of persons with particular cruelty, and looting (Articles 209, 105 and 351.2 of the Criminal Code).
The circumstances of the investigation of crimes committed by military personnel participating in the repelment of the APU attack on the Kursk region are not disclosed. But in the case of another soldier Alexander Lisunov, who was arrested along with Osipov in the same Kursk DIS on charges of murder, but then convicted of a special order in connection with a plead of guilt for concealing a crime (Article 316 of the Criminal Code), one of the episodes are guilty.
The military, in order to cause suffering to their victim, from the AK-74 released at least seven bullets to his feet, and then finished off the head in the head, the case said. According to the investigation, a convicted military took part in the concealment of traces.
One of the lawyers who participated in the proceedings told Kommersant that we are talking about the unit of the attack aircraft who directly participated in the hostilities. According to him, the investigation blames the murder of a colleague with whom they had a conflict. However, the defendants themselves say that they figured out the so -called “runner”, who tried to evade participation in hostilities, and then completely disappear from the advanced one. They also deny robberies and robberies, but they say that in abandoned buildings they took some trifle that could come in handy to equip soldier’s life.
The defense of Mikhail Osipov approved at a meeting of the appeal, that he was taken, without understanding, and that he was not involved in the incriminated crimes at all. The lawyers asked him to be released, transferring the units under the supervision of the command, but the judges refused them.
As a circumstance impeding the release, it was indicated that Osipov could not be corrected in the service, and was judged before entering it. According to Kommersant, he received a deadline for murder in the DPR.
Lawyers retorted this thesis by the fact that the previous criminal record from the accused now of the new murder and looting was removed, because, participating in the hostilities of the attack aircraft, he was awarded the State Basy.
