The KNAB has launched an administrative violation process against deputy candidates and 14 parties / day

The KNAB has received approximately 600 reports on possible pre -election campaign violations before the municipal elections. Of these, 450 cases have seen the KNAB the basis to start in -depth checks.

So far, the KNAB has launched 35 administrative violation processes, of which 21 have been initiated against natural persons, including deputy candidates or on the fact, and 14 against political organizations.

The violations detected by the KNAB are mainly related to the illegal use of administrative resources, hidden campaigning and the printed circulation of political organizations.

Until now, the KNAB has taken decisions on detected offenses in several administrative violation proceedings.

Taking into account that the relevant decisions made by the KNAB have not yet entered into force, the Bureau does not comment on them.

The distribution of pre -election campaign materials in the public space is reportedly prohibited on Friday and Saturday, Election Day.

This means that these days, pre -election campaign materials must not be in press publications, urban environment and electronic media. In the social media or elsewhere, it is forbidden to place paid campaigning.

Both campaigners, including political organizations and deputy candidates, and those who do not involve them these days should not distribute campaign materials in the urban environment and elsewhere in the public space, as well as campaigning through state and municipal social media accounts. It is also forbidden to divide potential voters a variety of benefits, including sweets and items printed with party symbolism.

The exception is free campaigning in social media and elsewhere on the Internet. The law of pre -election campaigning does not prohibit the publication and share free content or express their political views in social media and elsewhere on the Internet, even before and the day before, but it is forbidden to make payment to promote these records. In addition to this, it is forbidden to promote video and other materials on the Internet, which use artificial intelligence tools in the creation of visual content.

Pre -election campaign materials are diverse – they can be advertising, interviews, recordings in social media. If the population is detected in the urban environment, the press and the Internet, within the next two days of the strictest bans of campaigning, the KNAB must be reported.

This can be done in several ways, including anonymously using the online reporting platform or its mobile app « Reports KNAB! », As well as calling the KNAB trust phone 8000 20 70 or writing to the e-mail « address » (Email Protected)« .

The pre -election campaign period before the municipal elections began on February 8 and will last until the election day – June 7.

By the end of the pre -election campaign period, the KNAB is actively following the placement of political advertising in the press, public places and on the Internet.

Similarly, other institutions, including the National Electronic Media Council, which monitors pre -election campaigning in electronic media, and the National Language Center, which will verify compliance with the language norms, are also monitored.

In the event of a possible violation of pre -election campaigning law, the KNAB may initiate the administrative violation process, as well as to impose a fine on natural and legal persons.
