The Romanian Vasile Frumuzache, a Security agent in Tuscany, could be responsible for the death of several people, apart from the two Romanian sex workers whose killing he acknowledged, the police said after searched his apartment on Friday, the Italian agency Ansa reports.

The Italian police said that « new evidence was discovered that indicates the existence of several victims » in Vasile Frumuzache’s apartment in Monsummano Terme, near Pistoia.

Frumuzache confessed that he killed Ana Maria Andrei, in August last year, and Denisa Maria Adas Păun, who disappeared on May 15, earlier this week.

The attack took place in Prato prison, in Tuscany, according to the local press, quoted by EFE.

Frumuzache, who was a client of Păun, confessed that he killed her after having a meeting with her, after which she tried to get rid of the corpse. The decapitated corpse was found on Monday, three weeks after the crime, in a suitcase in a wooded area of ​​Tuscany, in a case that in the last days it was shocked Italy and started the alarm again about the many feminicides that shake the country.

During the interrogation, Frumuzache revealed that last year he killed Ana Maria Andrei, missing from August 2024, in the same area of ​​Tuscany.

The case scored these days the titles of the Italian media, while justice began investigations and does not exclude the possibility of being a serial criminal. For this reason, an investigation was ordered on the list of missing women in Tuscany in recent years, and also from Sicily, where Frumuzache has lived until 2022.

The criminal, 32 years old, married to children, led a seemingly normal life.
