The introduction of advanced sea drones will be engaged in an interagency structure

A new interdepartmental working group has appeared in the structure of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the main priority of which will be accelerated development and commissioning of advanced marine unmanned systems. It is planned that these tasks will be solved through the use of the existing experience in scaling the production of drones and other systems by folk defense industry companies.

On the morning of April 22, it was announced the creation of a new working interdepartmental group at the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation – the Technical Council for the development of unmanned systems and marine use technologies. Admiral Alexander Moiseev will lead them to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy (Navy), and representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST), United Russia, the People’s Front and a number of small and medium-industrial sector companies engaged in the development and production of the marine component of unmanned systems will take part in the work of the Council. It is expected that the technical council will become a profile platform for the intensification of the development of promising technologies and providing the fleet with advanced solutions by the People’s OPC, Kommersant was told by the press service of the Central Bank.

Admiral Moiseev has already demonstrated the latest practical developments in the field of unmanned systems from the residents of the Central Bank. True, the vast majority of these products are not “sea” actually and are an UAV of the aircraft type and FPV throns, which are now used within the framework of the

And among the flagship samples that are closest to serial implementation in the interests of the Navy, one can call the Elucent Katra (BEK) Katran and FPV-Dron “Vrivores of the Navy”, adapted to launch from ships, boats, etc.

Despite, in fact, the open recognition of a noticeable lag behind the enemy in the specified area (for three years, his Russian fleet did not receive a single serial product, not counting several units of the Katran’s non -ethnic boats and the Vizier’s heavy supply of the Vizier’s heavy baches of the “Vizier”), the technical system is seriously configured to introduce new technologies for the Navy “Not through years, but here and now”. According to the participants of the new body, this task can be solved using the already gained experience in interaction between military startups, science and large defense companies.

“We need not just development, but a living ecosystem, where everything works for the result: from idea to delivery to troops,” the main task of the new structure was briefly described “Kommersant” to the Central Bank. At the same time, the problem of the bureaucratic stretching of the “Development -Westation -Servation -Serial Production” chain remains urgent, which is also intended to solve within the framework of the Navy’s technical council.

According to Kommersant, the Ministry of Defense determined the deadlines for the implementation of measures for the selection of technologies (until August 31) and the transfer of promising products for functional tests of the Navy (until October 31) for the formation of the state order, the beginning of serial production and production.

Among other developments that can become the basis for the further development of the seafood of marine unmanned systems, the participants in the Navy’s technology council has allocated the Hermes system, the software and hardware complexes « Square » and « Orbit »-the latter even managed to undergo a war in combat conditions (See “Kommersant” from April 16). Particular attention of the Commander -in -Chief of the Navy was also attracted by the universal ground -based BEC management station in the production of Krasny Dolphin.

As previously reported by Kommersant, on April 11, President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the development strategy of the Navy. It was also about the need to accelerate the development of domestic unmanned aviation shipping systems, marine robotics complexes, as well as non -eclipse underwater and surface boats (See “Kommersant” from April 12).
