The International Dance Day is mentioned

This year, the residents of Klaipeda were invited and organized by the Linen Dance School Lindance LT, which has celebrated this day for more than a decade, inviting everyone who wants to share the joy of dance with the open -air community.

The first to dance were the children – about half a dozen dancers from seven to eleven.

They danced nine dances that enslaved the audience not only with exuberant energy but also with musical choices.

Not only the classic « Judy in Disguise », but also the « Pedro » work of both children and adults, whose rhythm moved many viewers, could be heard among the sounds.

« It’s fun that my child not only dances, but also feels bold on stage. Such outdoor events are a great way to show children that dance can be communal, joyous, » said one of the participants’ moms after the show.

According to her, it is difficult to hide pride and emotions when you see children with confidence dancing against a large audience.

From the first chords, the children’s dance program has attracted the attention of passers -by.

After the children’s dance festival, adult performances and dance picnic continued, but the children’s dances were undoubtedly the heart of the evening – both parents and the smallest ones.

Linear dance for children is more than choreography. It is an opportunity to develop creativity, physical fitness, self -expression and self -confidence.

Perhaps it was the first show for someone, and for someone another step towards a dream.

Most importantly, this day everyone danced not only with their feet but also with their heart.
