The interest rate is reduced to 2% for businesses in 5 key sectors of the economy
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has begun consultations on the new program on financing in agriculture, where through a banking instrument with a funding line of 250 million euros, investments in greenhouses, agro -processing, fishing, aquaculture, agrotourism, technological innovation in the service of rural development will be supported.
Minister Anila Denaj brings pictures on social networks from the meeting held with the Albanian Agribusiness Council and representatives of commercial banks. To fund through soft loan and sovereign guarantee will help small and medium -sized businesses in the agricultural sector invest with mitigating conditions.
“We welcome the business and representatives of the banks that became part of a discussion, for a major government objective related to the further development of Albanian agriculture. Financial support for agriculture and the SME sector (small and medium -sized businesses) is the biggest support ever given in Albania in these years. 250 million euros set as a low-interest loan funding scheme ranging from 2% -3.5% is a considerable amount available to small and medium business to make progress and here a very important part of small and medium business is in the agricultural sector ”, Denaj said.
