Turkish Cypriot Entrepreneur Women’s Association (GİKAD), Northern Cyprus Young Business People Association (GIAD), Cyprus Turkish Business People Association (Business State), Turkish Business World Confederation (TÜRKONFED) and Türkiye İş Bankası Cooperation Organization was held at the TRNC.

In the “Inspire Meeting & Experience Sharing” panel organized within the scope of the “Women’s Power in Initiative” program, women who stand out with their success in the world of entrepreneurship; This project is of great importance in terms of being realized outside the borders of Türkiye for the first time.

Within the scope of the opening speeches, GIAD President Yusuf Tekinay, GİKAD President İçim Çağıner Kavuklu, Business President Enver Mamülcü, İş Bank official Nazlı Coşkun, Türkonfed. Dr. Yasemin Açık and Süleyman Sönmez were important names. In addition, TRNC President Ersin Tatar, TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üsel and Turkish Ambassador to Nicosia Ali Murat Başçeri expressed their support by participating in the event.

Vice President Sibel Aysu and entrepreneur Sıdıka Atalay shared their experiences with the participants.

Kavuklu: We became a part of the big family
GİKAD President İçim Çağıner Kavuklu emphasized that the aim of the establishment of the association is not only the woman but also to make a leader in every field. “In the economy, art, sports, family life and social responsibility projects, we set out to get the voice of women and their strength visible. Atalay: I was full of inspiration

Cypriot entrepreneur Sıdıka Atalay stated that the organization has a great meaning for him and shared the journey of entrepreneurism and the importance of women in economic life with the participants.
