The independence of the stations will be guarded

We are not yet Hungary. This evaluation often sounds in connection with the freedom of the media in Slovakia. Part of the diplomats uses this statement to justify why they do not express concern about how Robert Fico’s government approaches the media’s independence.

We are not yet Hungary, of course, is true. However, Robert Fico proceeds exactly as the one who wants to replicate Orbán’s propaganda machine. He has created it for several years to achieve a situation where it almost no longer needs journalists, because the propagandist team centrally produces content for a hundred channels and publications.

For example, the election of members of the STVR Council, who will vote for the CEO, shows the direction in which the Direction government receives. Conspirator, supporter of neo -Nazis and gray eminence of the Ministry of Culture Lukáš Machala, former spokesman of Vladimír Mečiar Jozef Krošlák, as well as former spokeswoman of the Minister of Education Plavčan and, as a last but not least, attorney Daniel Bombic David Lindtner will decide who and how he will manage the institution with remote public publicity.

It was the choice of STRR members to be insulated from politics, it should have been a group of experts for different areas. The mission of international journalistic organizations held at the end of last year recommended that the rules for the conflict of interests « so that individuals with political ties and civil servants were forbidden to operate in the Council of the Confusion ».

Lindtner, advisor to Prime Minister Fico, is an exemplary example of a conflict of interests: he is a defender Daniel Bombic, who, by the way, the Law Office of Kallan Legal, founded by the Minister of Defense, pays for a lease and lease. Threem Marian Kočner diverted his communication with his former judge Lindtner, who only colored why Lindtner does not belong to any independent body.

Colleague Daniela Hajčáková also describes the curious circumstances of the nomination, as Lindtner was proposed to the Council by a folklore association, more precisely the former statutory statutory representative of Šarišan Folk Art, for whom the former judge provided advice.

Lindtner’s past also has darker aspects than just a Tapec Tapes with Kočner. Matúš Burčík describes how the former member of the group David Takáč testified in the court with Tit Richard Šulk last week. He mentioned that he was doing a chauffeur for a while Ľuboš Kosík, and at that time they were in frequent contact with the judge Lindtner.

Robert Fico is likely to consider the disinformation underworld to be the basis of his future propaganda empire, so it is not surprising that the Government Office is preparing to financially support several projects from Robert Fico’s budget reserve that spread misinformation.

Regular verbal attacks on independent media, often appointing specific journalists, not providing information and ignoring the questions of journalists only illustrates why we cannot comfort ourselves by not yet Hungary.

Who cares about Rashi?

Even the last power puzzle clogged, Parliament has its chairman. Richard Raši did not even bother to pretend that his choice is about something other than political agreement. At the same time, even this « clicking » is not trouble -free, as the opposition claims that the vote was not completely secret. Thanks to the coalition crisis, the bright voters understood that Raši’s new position of the current political representation was not so missing. Not even with attributes: the second highest constitutional.

Raši resigned from his position of the Minister only when he promised to choose him as the head of parliament. Some would also say that he did not want the position that Andrej Danko would sell his own party.

Robert Fico’s government was reduced by the Parliament’s President of the Parliamentary Meeting and User of the State Travel Agency. This travel benefits will also be added a lucrative headquarters, such as the President.

The clinker and the curvature is a disaster

Why is the return of clinkers and coffers after fifty years to Slovakia a serious problem that goes beyond the affected municipalities and breeding cows? Do veterinarians have to kill healthy animals? What does the disinfectant pit look like at all?

Colleague Michaela Štalmachová talked to Professor Anna Ondrejková from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice to answer these questions.

Colleague Nataša Holinová wondered in what situation we would find ourselves if the current opposition responded to the government’s measures to prevent the spread of clinkers and cubes, just as Fico approached government measures during the Covid Pandemia.

At the same time, the seriousness of the Prime Minister’s situation will not discourage the fight against the opposition. It shouts that the opposition should be silent and let the government work. He says that if his critics want to comment on the clinker and the wing, they should study the veterinarian. It warns that no one uses this serious situation for media sensations, this is not a banality, but a threat to national interest. But the opposition and the media in such situations must control the government and warn if it does not take the right steps or if, for example, it uses a clinker and a bang for its advantage.

And we are also threatening the economic crisis

Economist and former Finance Minister Ivan Miklos says that international trade can collapse if the US is withdrawn from the position of a guarantor of globalization. In an interview with his colleague Tomáš Vašut, he explains that « the world where the laws of the jungle with the right of the stronger, who in the interior of the weaker opponent, suits Trump. »

As he says, the US is the strongest country in the world, so they can really dictate the conditions they will benefit from.

What happened to the opposition?

Colleague Peter Tkačenko explains what could happen to the opposition when, after meeting the government parties in the Presidential Palace, she announced that he was against the eventual posting of Slovak soldiers to supervise compliance with peace agreements.

« Robert Fico has scored significant profits in parliamentary elections by scaring the sending of soldiers to Ukraine, and it is not difficult to formulate the hypothesis that Peter Pellegrini can give Hodžovo Square as an address to work. He adds that this, however, « unfortunately, it cannot be perceived otherwise than accession to the deranged game of the Palace and the Government Office ».
