The iconic bar in Warsaw is preparing for the great march. Surprising words
In the heart of Warsaw right at pl. There has been a place from the 1950s, which remains a symbol of the past era. A glazed pavilion with a recognizable neon offers an unchanged set of dishes: including famous dumplings described in foreign guides. – Tourists often visit us, show a photo of our dumplings on the phone and ask for them – says Maria Rogozińska, who runs a coffee bar for 35 years.
History of a coffee bar. From Strzemiński to Spielberg

It was also the favorite premises of the artist Władysław Strzemiński, who lived in the neighborhood and always fell into the bar after rum. Mountaineering Wanda Rutkiewicz also belonged to the regular guests, who usually visited the place before expeditions to the mountains.
A cult bar on the route of the march – preparations for crowds
On Sunday, May 25, the election committees of both candidates for president Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki are preparing marches in the capital. The organizers announce that tens of thousands of people can take part in each of them. One of them will set off from the banking square.
– We are on this route and we are very happy about it – admits Maria Rogozińska. And he adds that he has been preparing for clients’ accumulation for several days.
– Drinks are ordered, beers are ordered, cakes ordered, dumplings ordered. I specially ordered them earlier, because at the beginning of the weekend it may be crowded. They are already preparing barriers here – explains the head of the iconic premises.

Let’s remind. The Sunday meeting of supporters of Rafał Trzaskowski was scheduled from 11am to 6pm. Its most important part will be the march under the slogan « The Great Patriot March », which will start at 12 o’clock. Marszałkowska, through the Dmowski roundabout to the Constitution Square.
On the same day there will also be a meeting organized by the committee supporting the candidacy of Karol Nawrocki. Participants of « March for Poland » will set off from the de Gaulle roundabout and pass ul. Nowy Świat and Krakowskie Przedmieście to Zamkowy Square.
