The holy month of Ramadan, how to make the fast simpler
Fasting is practiced for religious and spiritual reasons, and though mostly spread among Muslim believers, it is in fact a practice of other religions, such as Christianity, Buddhism, and Judaism. Some practical tips that doctors recommend to facilitate this month's fasting include:
-Don't avoid breakfast meal
There are only two options to eat during Ramadan: in the morning early before sunrise (Suhoor/Syfyr) and after the sunset in the evening (iftar). The morning meal can be easy to overcome, as it is difficult to have an appetite so early in the morning. However, doctors say it is extremely important not to pass this meal. Many people go to simple carbohydrates for the morning meal, but they do not give long -term energy. Instead consume more whole grains, healthy proteins, fruits, vegetables, etc.
Moisturize
How to hydrate if you can't drink water between East and sunset? Use the time when you can consume food to get all the necessary hydration. Try to include in the diet as many foods containing water (tomatoes, cucumber, strawberries, etc.).
-The care with food and portions
Traditional foods can be greasy and heavy and although they taste great, you may feel swollen and tired later. Try to eat healthy or create a balance with « few of all ». Remember that this is not something that lasts only one day, but a month.
