The high heels in my front yard

The high heels in my front yard

Friday and Saturday night is always going on in my street. And so it happens that the way home leads past my bedroom window for many party goers.

However, I am not annoyed. On the contrary, I even find it exciting that something is going on. Not too much, I don’t have to complain about noise pollution. But after several years in the village, where a human soul was rarely found on the doorstep, I am glad to get something from civilization again.

It is not uncommon for me to come across amusing legacies of party goers.

And so I often hear groups of people who make loudly on the way to nightlife after the « pre -glow », who are pushing through the street on a bike, and the next morning I often come across curious legacies of the party goers. No empty beer bottles, but high -heeled shoes!

Read too:

The chic, but apparently uncomfortable pumps were lonely and abandoned one morning in the flower bed. They were not an isolated case: one day I found even higher chopping on a small wall, and again a few days later it was abandoned moccasins that hadn’t made it home anymore.

When I saw the high heels left behind, I had to grin. Only too well I remember the times when I also pulled around the houses in uncomfortable footwear at night. My times as an night owl are over now, I prefer to watch the party goers in comfortable shower through the window. But I know one thing: Before a barefoot way home, there was usually a really good evening.

From the life of the LW journalists

The “gazettchen” is an informal column in which the authors legally tell about their everyday experiences or even give an insight into their thoughts. This has a long tradition: On December 3, 1946, an opinion with the title « Today » appears for the first time at the top of the side left on the first local side in the « Luxemburger Word ». On January 13, 1971, the « Gazettchen », which has been extremely popular with readers, then became the « gazette », which has kept its Premium-Platz in Luxembourg’s top-class daily newspaper to this day and across all layout.
