The hidden network of power: NGOs, secret services, government

The function of relay between governors and governors is increasingly claimed by NGOs, which tend to replace political parties. Mike Benz, a former official in the State Department in the first Trump administration and director of the Freedom Online Foundation, talked to Tucker Carlson about the influence of NGOs in Western societies. Benz described the role that NGOs, secret services and private philanthropic empires played in the influence of global and internal affairs.

« The NGOs are the stem cell of the central nervous system of the Government. They were born with the introduction of income taxes in the USA, in 1913, and with the law that exempted the donations made to charitable organizations, in 1917, » says Mike Benz.

Since then, the money of private companies to foundations has begun to run. The role of NGOs became more important in World War II and immediately afterwards, when OSS, the CIA predecessor, had to find a way to provide military and financial assistance in different groups. American diplomats dealing with political business are often considered CIA agents. There can be no clear difference between the US government, large corporations and NGOs, says Mike Benz.

The relationship is with double meaning: their NGOs receive government funding, but they also receive funding from business to promote US government projects in other countries.

The CIA was created to ensure an operative arm to its predecessor, OSS. The first great operation took place in Italy, in the 1948 elections, when the CIA used by charitable, unions and mafia organizations to fraud the elections and to keep Italy from a pro-Soviet government. The strength of these NGOs has increased.
