The National Meteorological Administration has issued a yellow code of heat and thermal discomfort for most of the country, valid on Thursday, between 12:00 and 21:00, and another for 17 counties and Bucharest, valid on Friday, at the same time interval.
According to meteorologists, on Thursday, most of the country will be highly high for this time, and the thermal discomfort will be increasing. The maximum temperatures will be between 30 degrees in the north and center of the country and 36-37 degrees, isolated in Banat and southwest Oltenia, where it will be heat. Locally, in the Romanian Plain and the Western Plain the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will easily exceed the critical threshold of 80 units.
Also, on Friday, between 12:00 and 21:00, in the northwestern half of Transylvania and in the southern half of Muntenia, particularly high temperatures will be recorded for this date and there will be thermal discomfort. Locally, the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will easily exceed the critical threshold of 80 units in the western and south of the country. The maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees, the highest values to be isolated in Banat and Crișana.
ANM states that the weather will be warm, and the discomfort, on Saturday and Sunday, most of the country.
