In honor of the Passover and my father’s name, and strongly motivated by the overnight performance of our Alkaloid in the semifinal of the Edge Cup, against strong Runar Sandrerfjor, led by the living legend of the world handball, Bjarte Mirhol, The Cologne tournament, after a long break, was « caught » for the keyboard. (Over) many events, competitions, situations, for less than a month since I wrote the last column « After the Romanians », and I have the feeling of having spent a year.

Due to the volume of the material, I decided to write this column in two consecutive sequels, of which the first sequel will go today.

The first column will cover the « trip » and Alkaloid’s journey into the domestic playoffs, as a team that played all (or almost all with the exception of Pelister in Ohrid) significant (in terms of trophy distribution), and in the second match for the first match, on April. I am also writing about the situation in Mac handball and the struggle of the young people from Bitola and the placement in Cologne.

From my last « appearing » with a column, the playoffs started, with Alkaloid’s appearance in « Jane », but also in Bitola and Ohrid, as a beautiful announcement for the European Super Presentation against Norwegian Runar. Such behavior of foreign players (and even Macedonian, not to remain shorter) can only be tolerated in Macedonia, which has become a « cow muzzle » for expensive second and third -diminished foreign players.

Macedonian handball in the way position

Macedonian handball is in a strange situation. Four clubs spend serious (for Macedonian conditions) funds to buy players, three of whom buy one miracle foreigners, and the fourth Macedonian markets playing in the other three clubs. The rules say that the maximum number of foreign players in the domestic championship is eight, and the biggest hell will have a good deal of average or young Macedonian players and super veterans who will charge a solid but also a statistical number. It is unlikely that many of them will get a chance to play and advance, but they will also be satisfied with the income, entering a comfort zone, where responsibility is low and the salaries are solid. This will lead to a reduced number of quality players who know how to take responsibility, to win and lose a match. Famous diagnosis from the Macedonian basketball scene!

And as long as a « well -wisher » remember to remove the « high » 8 -stretched slab in the domestic league.
