In the temple of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, today the graceful fire, one of the miracles in Orthodoxy that takes place every year on the Great Saturday before the Resurrection of Christ – Easter, reports, the Orthodox Times reported.

The graceful fire descended into the cuzzer – the chapel over the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus Christ was buried, after Orthodox Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilus III entered to pray.

The lowering of the fire is preceded by a complex act: the door of the cuvuncia is sealed with a large wax as a sign that its detailed review is over and that nothing could be found inside that could serve Jerusalem’s Patriarch in any way to burn fire.

Shortly before the patriarch entry, the press is removed and a large candle and 33 candles are inserted. The patriarch and the believers present in the temple are then continuously prayed for the emergence of the graceful fire.

After lowering the fire, the Patriarch leaves the cuisor the holy gift of the gathered believers. Usually in the church of the Holy Sepulcher and near Jerusalem, thousands of believers gather on this day, who, after taking the graceful fire of the hands of the Jerusalem Patriarch, transfer it further.

Representatives of the local Orthodox churches will take over the graceful fire from the Tel Aviv Airport and transfer it to their countries.
