The good deeds of the community in Cetireni – the angle – see the world as it is!

In a world in which solidarity and generosity become more precious, Father Igor Ursu, from St. Nicholas Church in Cetireni, together with his parishioners demonstrate that the help offered to those in need can change destinies. Through charity and community events, his parent and volunteers manage to bring light to many people in their lives.

The campaign to help the needy families
A recent -extended action was organized in partnership with Diaconia, a megamarket in Ungheni and Cetireni parish. In just two days, people donated over two tons of food, and the support reached 120 families in the villages: Cetireni, Florești, Cioropcani and Old Cioropcani. « Most of me were impressed by the cases in Cioropcani. People were not only grateful for food, but also for the fact that someone passed their threshold, that they were not forgotten, ”says Father Igor Ursu. In identifying the beneficiaries, an essential role in Evghenia Ghiba, who supported the team in selecting the families in need.
Also, on the second day of Christmas, the parent offered food packages to the parishioners present at the job – about 100 people. The children enjoyed special gifts: Panettone, oranges and other goodies.

The Festival of Colinde – a tradition of community
Another soul event, reached the second edition, was the carol festival. This participated in the church choir, the students of the Cetireni Gymnasium and the Children's Ensemble, coordinated by the teacher Liuba Mihalachi. People met in a warm, Izvar, sarmale and a special guest-Alexandru Galiț. « It was something beautiful, because what is done, it is done for people, » says the parent, emphasizing the importance of preserving the traditions and unity of the community.

People with great soul and active volunteering
The charitable actions of the parish in Cetireni also reached the hearts of people who, without being part of the community, decided to contribute. A couple of young people from Calarasi, impressed by the posts on social networks, came to donate food. Together with the parent, they went to a family with ten children, giving them the necessary support. « I have many people who do well, but I do not want to mention their public name. This shows that true kindness does not need recognition, ”confesses Father Igor Ursu.
The volunteers who help it are active, and the parent offers very reward unforgettable experiences. « I motivate them with different activities. For example, I organize trips to different cities of the country. When he warms up, we will go in a bicycle race, ”he says.

A better future through good deeds
For the future, his parent and community intend to continue the good facts. « Life is so short … we have to do as much as possible. In the last period, to the regret of everyone, young people die. This shows us that we have to value each other and help, ”concludes Father Igor Ursu.
Through these initiatives, the parish in Cetireni becomes an example of solidarity and care for those around. With every gesture of kindness, the community shows that true faith means and do good to those in need.
