The body of the murdered girl was found after a week of searching
Maja disappeared on April 23. After a week of search, her body was found in hard -to -reach thickets near the Mława train station. Preliminary autopsy results showed that the cause of death was extensive head injuries resulting from multiple strokes. However, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Płock does not disclose details about other injuries, which further fueled speculation about the circumstances of this tragic crime.
Bartosz G. suspected of murdering Maja was detained in Greece
17-year-old Bartosz G., a friend of Maja, is suspected of committing a crime. The teenager was detained in Greece, where he went on a school trip. According to reports, Bartosz refused to consent to extradition to Poland, arguing that only in Greece can he count on a fair trial.
The case still arouses great emotions, both among the inhabitants of Mława and Działdów and in all of Poland. The Maja family and the local community are waiting for further steps of justice, which will explain all the circumstances of this tragedy.
