The German police are sure after the tragedy in Stuttgart. It’s not an assassination
Initially, eight victims were informed, including three. Unfortunately, it was later confirmed that a 46-year-old woman died in a hospital as a result of injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 42-year-old German citizen, was not injured. The police have already stopped him and interrogated him. Investigators did not find any reasons indicating that the incident was a terrorist assassination or intentional action. The police qualified the event as a tragic traffic accident.

We would like to remind you that the accident took place during rush hour at the busy intersection of B27 and Olgastraße, near the Olgaeck metro station. Emergency services were present at the scene of the incident, which provided assistance to the victims. The tram traffic in the area was suspended, and the area around the accident site was secured by the police.
Witnesses of the incident related that a woman with a pram was among the victims. In the pictures from the scene of the accident you can see a damaged trolley on tram tracks, which indicates the drama of the situation.
