The GDP Check and Confirmation Deadline Expires for 2024 Revenue
The Public Revenue Office reminds the taxpayers that the deadline for checking and confirming the annual tax return for 2024 expires tomorrow 31 May 2025.
As the regular deadline for confirmation or correction of the GDP is on a non -working day, the deadline for confirmation or correction of the income for last year will be considered June 2, 2025. This means that the citizens who made income in 2024 should by 2 June 2025-Monday to inspect their tax returns through the e-Tax Services system and confirm or correct them if needed.
After this deadline, all applications that are unconfirmed will be considered final, while the corrected will be subject to approval by an official of the Public Revenue Office. Taxpayers where there is an obligation for a tax surcharge will be issued for a surcharge, while those with more paid taxes may request a refund.
The Public Revenue Office ended within the legal deadline with the generation of the annual tax returns (DDD-GDP) for 2024. A total of 841,671 tax returns for 2024, which is 6%, or 47,947 more tax returns compared to 2023, when 793,724 applications were generated.
