The Free University of Nis adopted the proposal of the Education on one-day suspension of the work every week – society
The plenum of the free university in Nis adopted a proposal of educators to suspend work for one day every week, in solidarity and support from student requirements.
Nis Free University, which gathers professors, researchers and associates who support students in the blockade, brought such a decision unanimously at their 12. Plenum.
On the prey of the Free University, the Presveters’ representatives said that they called the academic community to a one-day strike every week due to a difficult situation in schools, where there is a great pressure on teachers and students in the blockade.
« Some high schools move on to online teaching, which is illegal, and teaching in schools in most block students, » they said.
They added that their idea is to expand this initiative into the whole of Serbia.
The plenum of Prosest Workers of Nis originally proposed that the first suspension of work be on Friday 4. April, on the day of students, and that « next is on Thursday 10. April, Wednesday, April 16, and so on.

In Nis, otherwise, most schools work, holding classes of 45 or 30 minutes from the beginning last week.
In the territory of the city there are 33 basic and 24 medium « state » schools.
