The fools conquer Esch/Alzette | Luxembourg word
The traditional cavala cade transformed the streets of Esch/Alzette into a colorful and happy spectacle on Sunday. Thousands of spectators have lined the streets to enjoy the imaginative costumes, the rousing music and the exuberant mood.
According to the organizer, there were 67 groups with colorful moving cars and music groups that were pulled through the streets of Esch/Alzette. Right from the start, the « Bombos OS Eemigrantes » from Differdingen with their drums and skipper piano created the best atmosphere. After just a few steps, the drummer really heated up the audience with southern rhythms. Vera and Isabelle, participants of the « Bombos », both from Differdingen, took part in a cavalacade for the first time. The two were enthusiastic and already announced that it was certainly not their last cavala cade.
Unpopular bass
It shouldn't be missing from dance performances either. Among other things, the “Zumba Los Amigos” association from Esch provided this. Of course there were also confetti, sweets, sweets and beer against the thirst. As always, some groups have taken the political events of the past few months and weeks in an ironic way.
Preparations for the first “Käercher Nuetskavalkad” are in full swing
Meanwhile, the groups that made the move with booming bass from several thousand watt systems were less popular. Some cars in the area countered the vibrations with their alarm systems.
In any case, the costumes were worth seeing: from classic pirate costumes to imaginative mythical creatures and superheroes, everything was there – much to the delight of the little visitors who marveled at the Fuesboken.
