The first week of June is waiting for rainy and with thunderstorms / day

On the night of Monday, June 2, in the western and central areas of Latvia, the day is expected to rain in many parts of the country. There is also a thunderstorm, but during the day there are also heavy thunderstorms.

The wind will blowing slowly to moderately from the south, but during the day it will gradually turn from the southwest, the west. At night, the air temperature will drop to +10… +15 degrees, but in the eastern areas of the country will be a few degrees colder. During the day, the thermometer bar will rise to +14… +19 degrees.

On Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 4, the weather will be partially cloudy. On Tuesday night, there are rain in the eastern but also in the afternoon, with rain, thunderstorms in the afternoon, but no significant rainfall on Wednesday is expected. At night, fog will form in some areas.

Slow to moderate wind continues to blow from the southwest, the west, on Wednesday it will turn from the south.

The minimum air temperature is expected to be +5… +12 degrees. During the days, the air temperature will rise to +16… +21 degrees, on Wednesday, places in western and central areas also to +22… +24 degrees.

In the second half of the week, the weather will remain similar – in many parts of the country, there will be a thunderstorm. At night, the thermometer will not slip below +8 degrees, but in many places the air temperature will rise to and above +20 degrees.

In the middle of the day and in the afternoon, the intensity of ultraviolet (UV) will be moderately high, so citizens are encouraged not to stay in direct sunlight for a long time.
