There are also exceptions
The ban on traveling to the US concerns citizens of twelve countries. Specifically, it is Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritneu, Haiti, IranLibya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
Partial travel restrictions will also apply to seven other countries – Burundi, CubuLaos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela. This means that their citizens will not be able to come to the US permanently and do not even get tourist or student visas.
However, several people – for example, athletes traveling to the USA will get an exception sports events as a football world championship in 2026 or summer Olympic games in 2028 in Los Angeles.
« Persons with permanent residence » in the United States and people with double citizenship will also be able to come to the US from these countries, if they are not included from countries that are not included from the travel ban.
