The first of the 115 patients killed after the tragedy in the Kocani disco discomfort returned to the country this afternoon. It is a patient treated at a hospital in Belgrade, Serbia and will be observed at the PHI Clinic of Toxicology – Skopje. The patient was greeted by Health Ministers Arben Taravari and Foreign Policy and Trade Timco Mucunski.

Director of the PHI Clinic of Toxicology – Skopje, Andon Chibishev said that the returned patient from Serbia was in a completely improved general clinical situation.

-It will be observed at the University Clinic of Toxicology until tomorrow. Some clinical trials are currently being done. He is inspected and is in good shape, with good clinical parameters. We will make some of our investigations to make sure we can let him go to the family. The protocol says we need to take at least a basic laboratory, to do an interview to see through everything he has gone through while healing there. Coming to his country and at home, of course, for him not to say a little stressful situation and we cannot let him go home immediately, but there will be a little here, he will hang out with our staff, and in the meantime we will make them out – said Chibishev.

The Director of Toxicology emphasized that according to the crisis headquarters, more teams have prepared for psychiatrists and psychologists who will work with patients who are treated in the country and those who return from abroad.

– Absolutely. I think the minister at the morning briefing with reporters also said that according to the crisis headquarters, more teams made up of psychiatrists, psychologists who would work with all patients who are being treated in the country and those who return from the countries where they were transferred. The psychic trauma is great and the stress is great. These patients will certainly need both a psychiatric and psychological need – said Chibishev.
