‘The first in Croatia we have a terrain with a prestigious Fifa certificate’
The Municipality of Veliko Trgovišće was the first in Croatia to receive a football field with artificial grass that received the prestigious Fifa certificate « Quality Pro », which means that the terrain fills the strictest international standards for security and performance, making it the first terrain in Croatia with this certificate.
The « Quality Pro » certificate is allocated only the terrain that meet the high standards of FIFE in terms of quality of material, player safety and weather resistance. This means that the terrain provides optimal play conditions, reduces the risk of injuries, and allows maintaining official and international matches under the FIFE rules.
The Mayor of Veliko Trgovišće, Robert Greblički, expressed his pride and satisfaction with this great step in sports infrastructure.
– With the new terrain, we allow young athletes top conditions for training and competitions. This investment is not only an investment in infrastructure but also in the future of the sport and healthy life of our children and young people. Of course, our Zagorac club will have even better conditions for training and maintenance of matches. We are proud that Veliki Trgovisce now has a terrain that can pair the best, and we believe that it will attract numerous sports events in our municipality.
With the opening of this terrain, Veliko Trgovišće has once again confirmed as a municipality that actively invests in the sports and quality of life of residents, and the new infrastructure will surely contribute to the popularization of football among young people and give the opportunity to develop new sports talents
