The first episode of the Podcast SPC on the « colored revolution » caused controversy – religious content or political message? – Society
The Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) has launched a podcast, and instead of religious topics in the first episode, a « colored revolution » and alleged media attacks on church and patriarch porphyria were involved. Although it was published only the first episode of the podcast, it is unclear whether the SPC will continue to deal with topics that are not necessarily religious in the next, as well as the point of starting the same.
Guests of Jerea Stevan Jovanovic in the first episode of Podcasta SLC were protojerej-Stavrofor Velibor Jomic, professor at the Faculty of Law in Kragujevac, and professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade Vladimir Vuletić.
According to the critics, the entire episode was reduced to the potentification of Velibor Jogić, as the SPC, but also the patriarch, are not obliged to talk about any socio-political topic, but also not supporting « neither side ».

Among other things, the protojeraj-stavrofor pointed out that the media and citizens requiring the SPC that the ads of protests in a way actually attack the patriarch and church and compared them with dailies from the time of communism.
Vladimir Vuletić generally agreed with the words of Jomic, but he used this opportunity to present his position that the University is corrupt.
The interlocutors of Danas believe that the new Podcast of the Serbian Orthodox Church will serve in propaganda purposes.
Theologian Vukasin Milićević states for our portal that the new podcast is a crisis management attempt because there is more and more critical voices that occurs within the Serbian Orthodox Church and in relation to her top according to the current social situation.
« It encounters a great number of believers, I think this is a preventing the impact of critical voices, but it should only pay for those people who appear in that podcast two months ago, where they are in force in contradiction, » Milićevic points out.
Theologian considers that the Serb heads found themselves in an awkward position, because their « Russian friends » published the entire recording of Porphyria talks with Vladimir Putin during which the patriarch put himself in a complete disposal of the Russian political agenda.
« No one can deny that he mentioned a colored revolution and Russian world, so they are trying to give it some sense, that it is not just going to aggressive Russian imperialism, » Milicevic points out.
According to his opinion, he will spread propaganda in the following episodes and will follow what the Agenda is.
« I expect that a topic of General University, the status of the Orthodox-Bogoslovski, because of the institution, which is to seeking the state, which will follow the political agenda that dictates the regime, trying to wrap it for semi-impaired church phrases », Milićevic concludes.
Miloš Parandilović, Prophet and President of the Party The new person of Serbia, believes that it is the role of the Church and the Atmosphere of Unity and Peace, and does not for the deepening of the « some podcasts and to make an Internet campaign against his part of his people. »
« The church had a big role in the survival of our people and was in the most difficult moments for us, it would take care of it with their people, because it should serve exclusively to him and his interests, and not the interests of any political group, » Parandilović emphasizes.
The call of student protests can see the colored revolution as, at least, maliciously, because the « party in power is painted with all colors, except Serbian ».
« No students handed all institutions in Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija and left our monasteries and churches at the mercy of Curti’s regime, but Aleksandar Vučić », states Parandilović.
Therefore, our interlocutor points out that the patriarch should take into account which « Satanization » of Serbian students and rebellious citizens, including many believers, and to which « bitches » only because they think differently.
