The first cruise ship came to Klaipeda: 2.5 thousand. passengers

This year, 62 cruise ships are expected in Klaipeda port – 17 percent. More than last year, and June and July will be the most intense months.

The Directorate points out that the infrastructure is currently being prepared in Klaipeda port, equipment supplied in Estonia and the first electricity stop from the shore will be opened next year. They will be for DFDS Seaways and TT-Line to come to Klaipeda port. However, the electrification of the quays by 2028 is also provided on the quays to which cruise liners are moored.

The cruise ship season in Klaipeda should end this year on October 14. Eight ships are expected in May, and the most intense months will be June, when thirteen cruise ships will visit Klaipeda port, and July, when the port will accept a6tuoniolis vessels. According to the Directorate, nearly 70 cruise ships have already expressed their desire to bring tourists to Klaipeda in 2026.
