« As a result, we decided to immediately suspend deliveries for the American armed forces in Norway and their vessels calling to Norwegian ports. Owner of Haltbakk Bunkers Gunnar Granthen confirmed the company's decision in an interview with the Norwegian portal Kisterns Næringsliv.
– We run a private limited liability company and choose clients – emphasized Gunnar Gran.
He added that his company had previously banned the sale of fuel to Russian entities after the invasion of Moscow to Ukraine.
– We have lost a lot of income, but we have a moral compass. Now the United States is excluded due to their behavior towards Ukrainians – he said.
The Haltbakk Bunkers company has gas stations, fuel, bunker and tanker magazines, and also provides services related to crew employment and chartering. It also has the largest fleet in Norway and has 2,200 customers in the country and abroad.
