The father of a missing soldier in Lithuania reveals the content of the last conversation with his son
Troy Smith Knutson-Collins comes from West Michigan. He joined the army in 2017 at the age of 20. Lrytas.lt reports that the man’s father said that he did not like the idea of signing his son to the army, but he accepted it. – He developed even more as a man and as a person I completely respect. He just turned out to be amazing – said the father of the missing soldier.

Sergeant Knutson-Collins, who is the father of five children, was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He was sent to exercises to Lithuania. The man’s father revealed that he talked briefly with his son on Sunday, March 23 before leaving for an unlucky action.

He also pointed out that the family appreciated international efforts during the search, as well as the way the Lithuanian defense minister and military staff communicated with them during the search. – Various nations meet for four men, for four people and put a huge job. They came from the United States, Poland and Lithuania, the list is huge – he said.
Collins also said that when an army officer told him that his son was still missing, he was overwhelmed by a wave of relief, and at the same time anxiety about what would happen next.
I was already thinking about all possible, inevitable situations, that it may be different, that it is still possible that he is still there. But then another thought appears: well, where he is now
Collins said.
The brother of the missing, Trevor Collins, said that he would like to be able to hug him as tightly as his brother once hugged him. – I would like to hug him and ask: how did it go? – said the man, quoted by Lrytas. lt.
