The fantastic four are a music group from Stuttgart that has been one of the formative actors of German hip-hop since the late 1980s. Their origins go back to 1986 when they initially appeared under the names « Die Zeigen Zwei » and « Terminal Team ». In 1989 they finally opted for the name « The Fantastic Vier ». The band consists of Michi Beck (rap and DJ), Thomas D (rap), and.ypsilon (production and keyboard) and Smudo (rap).
