« The faces of Maria – the queen of all Romanians »
An itinerant exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Queen Maria will be opened on Friday, April 4, at the Dacian and Roman Civilization Museum (MCDR) Deva, the public having the opportunity to know its activity in the most diverse forms, from that of the mother, to those of diplomat and sensitive artist.
The event represents an incursion in the visual and spiritual inheritance of the most charismatic and influential personalities in the history of modern Romania, the exhibition being organized by the Social Innovations Regina Maria and Enayati Medical City, a MCDR Deva statement said.
« Some of the plural faces of Queen Maria at the present time will be visited in Deva: mother, unmarried soldier, brave nurse, diplomat, sensitive artist, prolific writer and at the same time a great lover of the needy, the mother of the left orphans, a caleidoscopic personality, »
The organizers, in collaboration with the Hunedoara County School Inspectorate and the high schools in Deva, have prepared a larger program, which includes conferences, dialogues between generations and the projection of the documentary film « Maria – the heart of Romania », in the presence of Dan Drăghicescu, one of the producers.
The exhibition will be opened on April 4, at 19:00, and will be followed by the projection of the documentary film « Maria – the heart of Romania ».
