Suspicious behavior at a gas station

The incident occurred on May 12, 2025 after 18:00 at a gas station at the Zator housing estate in Olsztyn. The station’s customer noticed a man who returned to his car after refueling. His behavior aroused suspicion, which is why the witness decided to approach the open window of the vehicle. The noticeable smell of alcohol confirmed the fears – the driver was intoxicated.

Escape in flip -flops and civic chase

The driver of Volvo, despite having flip -flops, tried to run on foot, jumping through the station fence. The witness did not give up – he got into his car, and then continued the chase on foot. The fugitive took refuge in one of the apartments of a nearby housing estate, but thanks to the determination of the witness and the quick reaction of the police he was detained.
