More than seven months have passed since the disappearance of Beata Klimek, and there is still no breakthrough. Investigators, however, do not intend to let go. At the beginning of May this year. The Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Szczecin extended the investigation into the disappearance of a woman for another months.

Last week, the officers again appeared on the property of the woman’s husband, Jan K. The activities were carried out on Wednesday and Thursday (21 and 22 May). This time the profiler, i.e. the expert, also participated in them court in the field of psychology. The profiler’s task is to draw up a psychological portrait of the potential perpetrator of the crime. Using knowledge of psychology, criminology and psychiatry, he helps investigators better understand the motives and behavior of the perpetrators.
Information about the presence of the profiler on the property of Jan K. confirmed in an interview with « Fakt » by Prosecutor Małgorzata Wojciechowicz with Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Szczecin.
– I confirm that procedural activities were carried out with the participation of Mr. Jan K. and an expert in the field of psychology took part in them. Certainly they were not actions related to its arrest. The proceedings are still conducted in the case, not against anyone – explained prosecutor Małgorzata Wojciechowicz.
Can the participation of the profilera in the activities on the property of Jan K. mean that investigators are preparing for the circumstantial process (the trial in which the court decides on the basis of indirect evidence, i.e. circumstantial evidence, and not direct evidence of guilt – editor’s note) regarding the disappearance of Beata Klimek? However, the prosecutor’s spokeswoman refused to answer.

We also managed to talk to Jan K. himself, who revealed more details about the presence of investigators on his property.
– Yes, the police were with me two days in a row – on Wednesday and Thursday. They conducted activities with a profiler from Warsaw. The expert asked about the day when Beata disappeared, he wanted to determine his course from the moment I came to my parents, i.e. around 6:30, until the police appeared on my property, i.e. around 15:20. I told everything I did in turn. Let them do, let them look. I will not convince anyone. For now, it was the police who gave me a tarpaulin, which they requested during the last « excavations » on my property – says the husband of the lost Beata Klimek with a snack.
Jan K. did not want to answer the question whether he was subjected to a crazy subordinate at the request of the prosecutor’s office. « Fakt » determined that the current partner of the man Agnieszka B. and his parents underwent such a study.
– Yes, I underwent a crazy study. I am innocent, why should I not undergo a study? It was a procedural examination at the request of the prosecutor. We do it so that they can give us peace – the police, the prosecutor’s office and it is also about the community – said Agnieszka B.
However, the prosecutor’s office did not provide the results of the research to her or the parents of Jan K. because they are not a party to the case.
The disappearance of Beata Klimek
Beata Klimek (48 years old) from Conduct (Łobez commune, West Pomeranian Voivodeship) was lost without a trace of October 7 last year. A woman around 7.00. She walked three children to a school bus and was to go to work at 8:00. However, she never got there.
The boss concerned about the absence of a 48-year-old at work, she tried to reach her. At that time there was a connection signal, but the connection was not received. After 8.40 The woman’s phone was inactive. The car, which Mrs. Beata usually went to work, stayed in front of the house. However, there was neither her purse nor the phone.
The woman lived with her in -laws in a two -storey building in advice. She was in the process of divorce with her husband. The couple parted after 26 years of marriage. The man got involved with a new partner and moved out of the house to the nearby city of Łobez over a year ago.
The relatives of the woman, as well as the local community, are convinced that the woman fell victim to the crime. They direct their suspicions to her 48-year-old husband. The man categorically denies that he had anything to do with his wife’s disappearance.
