The disappearance of 11-year-old Patrycja. The interrogation of a child will be crucial
We learned about the case on May 13 this year, i.e. on the day 11-year-old Patrycja disappeared. Two days later, the girl was found in the apartment of 24-year-old Karol B. from Żory in Silesia. As established, Patrycja went to him by train, and the monitoring of the station in Gliwice registered the moment when they left the platform together. Girl She spent two nights with a man.

The police detained Karol B. in one of the factories near Żory. He worked there for a night shift. The man was surprised by the intervention of officers. He was taken to the prosecutor’s office in Strzelce Opolskie, and the girl was quickly handed over to her mother.
Karol B. heard allegations of keeping a child against the will of the guardian and committing the so -called other sexual activity.
The information provided by prosecutor Stanisław Bara showed that the suspect had explained to the prosecutor’s office in Strzelce Opolskie. The court then decided to apply for him temporary custody for three months.
What about the interrogation of 11-year-old Patrycja?
The interrogation of Patrycja was to be key to the further course of the investigation, which, according to the current procedure, can take place only once and only in the presence of an expert psychologist. Initially, they were planned at the end of May this year. However, there was no meeting of a child with a psychologist in court because of the girl’s poor health.
« We still can’t question the 11-year-old victim. » We are waiting for the green light on the part of doctors who do not allow our activities to be carried out – said prosecutor Stanisław Bar, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Opole in an interview with « Fakt ».
Investigators do not reveal the details of the evidence gathered, citing the good of the victim.

Karol B. is still in temporary detention. – From new information I can add that due to the media nature of the case, the investigation of the shooting prosecutor’s office was covered by the supervision of our unit – added prosecutor Stanisław Bar.
The allegation of admission of other sexual activities against a person under the age of 15 is punishable by a penalty of two to 15 years in prison. In turn, for stopping a child without the consent of the guardian Karol B. faces from three months to five years imprisonment.
