Over one million Romanians have already voted in the diaspora, in the second round of the presidential elections.

Shortly after 13:00, according to the data provided in real time by the Permanent Electoral Authority, 1,001,429 Romanians who expressed their option abroad are registered.

Romanians with voting rights in the Diaspora appeared at the ballot box from Friday to choose the one who will run the country in the next five years, the voting will end at 9:00 pm, Romania time.

In the 965 polling stations in the diaspora organized for this year presidential elections, Romanian citizens who are abroad can vote on the day of the election, whether or not they have their domicile or residence abroad.
