The Deputy Sisak HDZ volunteers, but will still have a salary almost like Plenkovic?!

After HDZ’s new mayor of Sisak, Domagoj Orlic, already at the constituent session of the City Council, decided to increase his salary to the legally maximum, the public’s attention was also attracted to the reception of his deputy, Sanja Miokovic.

Although formally performing a volunteer duty, Miokovic will receive a « volunteer fee » in the amount of EUR 1,700 net monthly, which is exactly half of the regular salary of the Deputy Mayor in employment. Mayor Orlic personally approved this fee, and the decision entered into force on June 4.

But that’s not all. Sanja Miokovic continues to perform the function of the head of the Administrative Department for the Mayor of Sisak-Moslavina County, managed by HDZ Mayor Ivan Celjak. As it says TelegramMiokovic will receive an additional € 3330 with a net monthly monthly with a new raise.

The sum of two income sources, from the city and county, could provide her with a total monthly income of as much as 5330 euros net, which Miokovic would probably be the highest paid person at a local level in Croatia. He would have a salary almost as Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, who, according to the latest property card published in January, receives a total of 5685.94 euros networks a month.

When asked by a telegram journalist, Miokovic briefly stated: « I still have no salary solution and I do not know how much he will give. » At the same time, the Sisak SDP has announced that the new salary of Mayor Orlic is 4786 euros net, or € 7650.99 gross. Neither Orlic nor Sisak HDZ still denied it.
