It wasn’t all right after the war. Similar to other Allied countries in which the quizlin structures were formed, there was a great deal of suffering, injustice, extrajudicial killings and confiscation of property, but the truths about the liberation front, the national liberation struggle and the liberation from under the belt of the occupier should never be insulted by distorting historical facts. «

We remember those who – with weapons or words, in forests or places, with actions or silent resistance – paved the way to our freedom. She added that throughout history, the Slovenian nation has repeatedly proved that it can recognize the right moment for cooperation and resistance, that it does not allow itself to take the right to its language, culture and sovereignty, to life in its space. “Today should be an opportunity to thank all those who have contributed so that we can live in a free and democratic state. At the same time, let us remind us that peace and freedom are not taken for granted, but the responsibility of every generation. «
