The death of a diver while searching for Grzegorz Borys. The prosecutor’s office is charged
The tragedy took place on November 1, 2023 in the Bepius reservoir in the buffer zone of the Tri -City Landscape Park. It was there that the unlucky day was sought by 44-year-old Grzegorz Borys, a military suspect in the murder of his son, 6-year-old Olusia.

27-year-old Bartosz Błyskal, a firefighter and a manure of a specialized water and dining group « Gdańsk », participated in the search and went under water that day. Suddenly, colleagues lost contact with him. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old’s life could not be saved. The young diver died in the hospital.
The prosecutor’s office dealt with the death of Bartosz’s death. The experts determined that the fireman had not drowned. The cause of his death was breathing and cloister failure.
Now – according to the portal « Remiza » – the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bydgoszcz decided to present charges to the head of the Diving Group of the Gdańsk Fire Brigade as a person managing the work of the group and responsible for its safety.

– The first is exceeding the rights and failure to meet official duties by, among others: referring the diver to work underwater, while the conditions in the tank did not justify the need to immerse, allowing underwater work without proper belay Ready of the belaying diver to immediately descend to water and take rescue operations, not enforce the prohibition to influence the island, make an incorrect decision to allow underwater work after indicating the dive of the pressure of the respiratory factor pressure in the cylinder at the level of 50 bar, i.e. the reserve value, and as a result of the exposure to the victim of the victim to the direct danger of losing his life and inadvertently to his death – he passed on to his death – Prosecutor spokeswoman Agnieszka Adamska-Okońska.
The second allegation is a certificate of untruth as to the circumstances of legal significance, on the underwater work card documenting the performance of works on the water reservoir Bepous – informs the portal « Remiza ».
– The suspect was questioned, he has made extensive explanations so far. The investigation is currently extended to July this year. and will most likely end with this date-adds prosecutor Adamska-Okońska.
Posthumously, the young fireman was promoted to the older section and decorated.
