The day of the ground forces

It’s a big day for the military in the ground forces. Every year, on April 23, the Day of the Land Forces is celebrated, on the same day the Great Martyr Gheorghe, the victor of victory, the spiritual and protector of the military in these forces.

In Bucharestactivities will be carried out according to the following program:

Wednesday, April 23, in the « Carol I » Park

– 12.00 at the grave of the unknown host – Military and religious ceremony for laying wreaths and flower bumps.

– between 11.00 and 15.00 – exhibition of armament, equipment and military technique, presentation stands of the educational offer and promoting the military career, fanfare concerts.

Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27, between 11.00 and 18.00

Mall Afi Cotroceni – exhibition of armament, equipment and military technique, presentation stands of the educational offer and promoting the military career, demonstrative exercises of fencing, fanfare concert and show held by the students of the National Military College « Stefan cel Mare » in Câmpulung Moldovenesc.

Sunday, April 27, between 7.00 and 20.00 – Withdrawal with torches on the itinerary Carol I Park – Parliament Palace – Ministry of National Defense – Șos. Panduri – Cotroceni Palace – General Bd. Paul Teodorescu – Drumul Taberei (headquarters of the General Staff).
