The daughter of a Social Democratic leader, from the Ministry of Health, to the head of a hospital

Georgiana Manole, former deputy secretary general in the Ministry of Health, was appointed, on Monday, during the ordinary meeting of the Vaslui County Council, as interim manager of the ‘Saint Chiriachi’ Emergency Hospital.

Licensed in law and economic sciences, it held several functions in the central administration, being employed at the Senate of Romania and within the Minister of Health.

‘I thank the president of the County Council, Ciprian Trifan, for the confidence and the ladies and gentlemen who invested me as interim manager of the’ Saint Chiriachi ‘Vaslui County Hospital. I am a technical man, I have worked over 20 years in the central administrative system, I have training on the health policies and on the management side of European funds. I would like with the team from the hospital to add value for the health system of Vaslui County, « said the new interim manager of SJU Vaslui.

Georgiana Manole is the daughter of the Social Democrat Ion Manole, who held the position of president of the Vaslui County Council between 2000 and 2004.

The post of manager of the largest unit in the county remained vacant at the end of last year, when Ana Rinder, the one who held this post between 2013 and 2024, was chosen by Vaslui. Since January this year, the interim was provided by the economic director of the institution, Emilia Irina Ciobanu.
