The Daugavpils Theater premiered a romantic comedy next year at the same time / day
The show is based on Bernard Sleida’s play, which takes place in California and covers the period from 1951 to 1975, a time when, like now, big changes and shocks were experienced in the world. Director Herbert Laukštein has encouraged reflections on values that remain unchanged even in the worst times.
Next year at the same time There is an amazing love story about Doris and George, two lovers who could not resist unexpectedly flammable feelings, and although both were married to other people, they agreed to meet again. The world changed, they changed, but for more than 20 years, one remained unchanged – their confidence in tradition to meet every year at the same place and at the same time.
Actress Natalia Coton, who portrays Doris, says, “It’s not a story about a simple love affair, but about two people who become truly close to decades. Their feelings are not destroying, on the contrary, they support each other, heal. As we grow up, this meeting with George becomes an island and where someone can see their true.
