If they leave, the river takes them away. (…) The water reaches them at the height of the dining room table, » the relative warned.

The son – the self -warns of the overflow of the Poyo ravine. « My parents, who are 70 and 74 years old, are drowning in the villa. I have contacted my mother and the water reaches her neck, » the 112 operator accurates. An aunt of this victim also uses the switchboard and asks that they send a helicopter to rescue their relatives. « There are four people hooked to a window. The river has overflowed. My sister and her husband. »

The judge resorts to these thorough details to answer a letter from Emilio Argüeso, Autonomic Secretary of Emergencies of the Mazón Government during the Dana. The exalted position, who is investigated and declared on April 11, requested that he be informed of what “facts or omissions” were charged in the case and demanded the magistrate a “clarification”.

The magistrate recalls that the imputation of Argüeso and Pradas is the result of the statements of dozens of investigated. In three months, more than a hundred witnesses have paraded by the court, mostly relatives of fatalities. « The cause continues to progress and join, not only new statements, but also new evidence that confirms the origin of the resolved, the essential citation as investigated from Pradas and Argüeso, » says the resolution.
