Czech politics has already offered many incredible stories, but so far the last big political scandal is one of the most bizarre.
The Minister of Justice and the “brain” of the ODS ended this week Pavel Blažek – Man extremely capable and successful, but also very, very problematic. The reason was a billion crowns.
Blažek did not steal her, he did not take a bribe or anywhere. On the contrary, it has won it for the state budget. Unfortunately, from Tomáš Jiřikovskýa person who has been in prison for five years for creating the online marketplace SHEEP Marketplace committed fraud, illicit armament and drug trade.
He served his punishment and then thought he could devote part of his property in Bitcoins, which the court was unable to say whether he was from crime.
It sounds generous, but it has a hook. Thanks to the promise to share the state, he could get into his virtual bitcoin wallet. And surprisingly, he found out that after years, when, of course, he could not dispose of Bitcoins, their value died of about twelve billion crowns, which is about half a billion euros.
This story is quite complex, opaque, and there are still no answers to the key questions: Why should a guy, what he was so fantastically rich in prison just by not doing anything, the need to share with the state?
