According to the Czech Novinky and act, on Friday, May 16, in the evening, a patient with a serious viral disease was transferred from the hospital in Tabor to the University Hospital of Bulovka in Prague. Doctors suspect two diseases: Ebola or Marburg (virus related to Ebola). Test results should be known on Saturday, May 17.

According to the act, the patient is an American aged about the age of 40 who had previously been in Congo. Novinky.cz, however, determined that he came to the hospital on his own. The first hospital in which the patient was in, in the rolling stock, applied special precautions against him. « I can confirm that the patient has already left our hospital, » he told Novinky.cz Ivo Houška, director of the hospital in Tabor on Friday evening. At the same time, he confirmed the suspicion of infection.
The Czech service reports that the sanitary facilities went to the Bulovka University Hospital in Prague with the patient. The South South Emergency Service was activated by a special team for such cases.

The action of transporting the patient between hospitals was precisely prepared and secured. The idea was not to expose anyone to infection with a very dangerous wiris. Policemen guarded the access road to the infectious ward even after the patient left the hospital. The security guards were inside the hospital. Nobody was passed down.
Novinky.cz inform that there were several disinfectants near the rear entrance to the hospital. Sanitary and firefighters worked there in protective overalls and wore masks.
