Direct Language: « As for the placement of peacekeeping forces in the territory of Ukraine, we cannot talk about it so far, since there is no peace agreement. It is difficult to say something specific about the mandate – it will be solved by individual states: whom and in what quantity they will send.

We have now talked about the guarantees we can achieve. I am convinced that the combination of economic, political and military guarantees will be sufficient. Without a security guarantee for Ukraine today is not discussed specifically which troops and who will be placed in Ukraine. «

Details: In addition, Pavel commented on the proposal of Russian ruler Vladimir Putin on a short truce. He pointed out that one -day or three -day pauses have no content and do not create the conditions to start real peace talks. According to the Czech leader, it is important not the fact of the truce, but its real observance.

At the same time, Pavel stressed that it was Ukraine who suggested that the 30-day truce be installed without additional conditions. According to him, it is Putin who has real levers to end the war.
