The Bureau is a collegial body, which consists of five members, including chairman and deputy chairman, which must by law control by checking the observance of the procedures for the request and implementation of the special intelligence and the terms for the destruction of the acquired information, if they are not served.
Candidates with at least 8 years of legal experience or also 8 years of professional internship in the security services or in the Ministry of Interior and have obtained permission to access classified information with the level secret may be selected as members of the Bureau.
All nominees, with the exception of Tanya Raycheva, who is an acting lawyer and teacher at the UNWE, and to some extent on Plamen Kolev, are currently operating SANS employees and the MoI Structures, which they will have to control as members of the National Bureau for Control of the CPC, Boyko Rashkov noted.
