On Thursday, the Kharya County Court sentenced the pharmacist Oleg Bershakov to almost 13 years of real prison term for the illegal sale of drugs and receiving funds from the cash desk of health with a fraud.
The court found Bershakov guilty of illegal treatment of a large batch of narcotic and psychotropic drugs, computer fraud and laundering of money made in the group and on a large scale, writes BNS.
The court sentenced the pharmacist to 13 years in prison, of which 12 years 10 months and 28 days should be fully departed, and as an additional punishment assigned a ban on entrepreneurial activity for a period of 5 years. Oleg Bershakov was taken into custody in the courtroom.
In addition, the court confiscated at the pharmacist of 41,886 euros found during the search for a pharmacy on Virbi, 4 in Tallinn, as well as belonging to a third party, Oü Giza, property in Tallinn worth more than 1 million euros. The court also partially satisfied the civil lawsuit of the health cash desk and ordered Bershakov to pay 756,731 euros to the victim.
The court found the family doctor Konstantin Ivanov guilty of computer fraud and laundering money made in the group and on a large scale. The court sentenced Ivanov to four years in prison with a probation period of five years
The court found that the pharmacist for almost ten years illegally sold narcotic and psychotropic drugs to persons who did not have the necessary recipes for them. In total, he sold more than 4,000 packages, receiving a criminal income of more than 180,000 euros.
The court also found that Oleg Bershakov and Konstantin Ivanov made computer fraud, as a result of which the health cash desk was deceived worth more than 700,000 euros over ten years.
The court also confirmed that Bershakov and Ivanov made money laundering by concealing and legalizing criminal income in the amount of more than 900,000 euros. This money was used to buy a large amount of real estate.
The court decision has not yet entered into force. Within 30 days, you can appeal to the decision in the Tallinn District Court.
