The Council adopted a law on youth education among the military

The document provides guarantees for military education

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law as a basis №13235which allows young people in the army to receive education without interruption from service.

The document guarantees the right to receive education for military personnel. This opportunity will be provided to those fighters who have joined the army by mobilizing or signing a contract.

The bill proposes that young people who serve in the army will be able to study in institutions of higher and professional higher education without interruption from service. At the same time, they will keep the place of study and scholarships for the period of service, and at the time of education – the opportunity to take this vacation.

« The decision is aimed at supporting the youth who protects the state, as well as motivation before military service, ensuring access to education and creating conditions for further self -realization after service »– explained in the Verkhovna Rada.

Earlier in the Ministry of Defense explainedthat such training of servicemen should not interfere with their responsibilities in the army.

Currently, only defenders among the ordinary, sergeant and sergeant series who serve under the contract and officers who have received higher education for state order and have served a term equal to the duration of study can be obtained during the service.
