The Constitutional Court has decided to have a new census of all ballots and redistribute the mandates
The Constitutional Court assigned to the Central Election Commission a complete new census of the national level of the National Assembly elections on October 27, 2024. By order of the court today, the election committee is obliged to make a new redistribution of the mandates and the determination of The 4 % barrier to enter parliament, as well as to announce whether changes in the personal staff of the 51st will occur National Assembly.
The court sent to the commission all the collected materials in the constitutional case. After the new census, it is expected that it will be clear whether « greatness » will enter parliament, how this will affect the ruling majority, and whether and which MPs will leave the parliament.
Tomorrow, at its hearing, the Central Election Commission will discuss the order of the Constitutional Court and announce what action will be taken.

What happened so far
- The first of these was imported in early November by « There is such a people », and the formation requested the re -counting of the results of 52 sections in the country;
- The second complaint was filed by « greatness ». Ivelin Mihailov's party demanded a complete casualization of the results, with Sonia Yankulova being a judge-rapporteur. In the request of « greatness » there is also an alternative – for partial casting of the choice;
- In mid -November, « we continue the change » submitted a request for re -counting and recalculation of the results of the parliamentary elections on October 27 due to numerous violations in over three thousand sections;
- On the same day, the signatures of MPs from the coalition also filed the complaint of the BOC Civic Association, which sought a complete cancellation of the election results;
- On November 14, the BSP and the APS also filed a complaint with the court to challenge the election results.
